Shiny New World is a short film that introduces the insane world of the feature film with the same name, in a surprising way. A feature film previously known as The Cleaner, which is currently in development. A quirky genre film that combines dark humor and horror. In addition to being released at film festivals, the short film also serves as a proof of concept for the feature film. Produced by Make Way Film in co-production with Zuiderlicht Film and associate producer Jan Doense. The short film had its world premiere in July 2021 at the Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival (BIFAN) in South Korea. In August 2021 the film had its North American premiere at the Fantasia International Film Festival in Canada. The European premiere took place in October 2021 at the Sitges International Fantastic Film Festival of Catalonia in Spain. The film has won multiple awards, including Best International Short at the Toronto After Dark Film Festival 2021 in Canada.

Shiny New World is een korte film die op een verrassende manier de krankzinnige wereld van de gelijknamige speelfilm introduceert, die momenteel in ontwikkeling is (een project dat voorheen bekend stond als The Cleaner). Een eigenzinnige genrefilm die zwarte humor en horror combineert. Naast een release op filmfestivals is de korte film tevens bedoeld als proof of concept voor de speelfilm. Geproduceerd door Make Way Film in co-productie met Zuiderlicht Film en associate producer Jan Doense. De wereldpremière van de korte film vond in juli 2021 plaats op het Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival (BIFAN) in Zuid-Korea. De Noord-Amerikaanse première vond plaats op het Fantasia International Film Festival in Canada in augustus 2021. De Europese première vond plaats in oktober 2021 op het Sitges International Fantastic Film Festival of Catalonia in Spanje. Verder heeft de film ook verschillende prijzen gewonnen. Zo won de film de prijs voor Best International Short op het Toronto After Dark Film Festival 2021 in Canada.
